Growing up, I was a competitive gymnast and long-distance runner who loved fitness and staying active. But after years of working a desk job in public relations and being pregnant, I experienced significant weight gain. I struggled to feel like myself. Determined to regain my health, I committed to improving my fitness and nutrition. I lost the weight and ran a half marathon after every pregnancy.
People asked me how I transformed my health, and I began helping women with their nutrition and fitness goals.After the birth of our second daughter, I left my 7 ½-year career in public relations to build a business from home where I could be present with our babies while coaching women to improve their health and confidence.
Since December 2011, I have been honored to helped hundreds of women all over the USA lose weight, gain energy, complete races, and create healthier lifestyles.
At age 42, I faced a new challenge when unexplained weight gain and fatigue hit. I went to see a medical professional, and she said, "Oh honey, you are going through the change." I said, "What change???" She said, "Perimenopause."
Once again, I was determined to lose weight, build muscle and lose body fat. Once again, I adjusted my nutrition, fitness, and lifestyle habits. I lost over 20 pounds and restored my energy and confidence.
