Patrick and I have been on our weight loss journey for about 9 1/2 months now. We had a baby last August and started working out and eating healthy about six weeks after our baby was born. There are several things that have given us results.
#1. NUTRITION– This is SO important! 80% of your results are from your nutrition! I didn’t realize how important this was!
We eat five times a day, every 2.5 to 3 hours. We use Beachbody’s meal planners from their workouts, Beachbody’s Club membership meal planner, the Biggest Loser Family cookbook, Sparkpeople cookbook, and healthy recipes we’ve found online.
#2. BEACHBODY WORKOUTS– Beachbody workouts will give you results! They are awesome because you can do them at home, and they cost A LOT less than hiring a personal trainer at a gym! Visit our website (www.BeachbodyCoach.com/GolladayFit) to find a workout that is right for you! They have TONS of different workout to chose from! P90X and Insanity are the most popular, but they have beginning and intermediate ones too. You can ask us for help if you need help deciding.
In 2005, I spent $20 a month on a gym membership, plus $40 per half hour for a personal trainer each week. It ended up being $2,320 for the year!! Crazy! I didn’t even see great results either!
#3. SUPPORT- We’ve had TONS of online support from our Facebook groups! It’s crazy how a Facebook group can motivate you, but it can. I didn’t really use Facebook much before we starting doing this, but it’s been awesome! We’ve met people from all over the United States and some outside the U.S.
#4. BEACHBODY COACHES- As Beachbody coaches we feel more motivated to be fit and healthy because we are motivating others to be fit too! It wouldn’t be good if we’ve weren’t doing what we were telling everyone else to do!
