Ultimate Reset Day 5

Day 5 started off really well! I woke up early and went for a walk just as the sun was coming up. It was a beautiful morning. I love the weather right now in Arizona.

It was nice getting up early and getting some fresh air to start off the day. I’d like to do this every morning during the reset to get my day started off on the right foot. I’ll keep you posted on how it goes. I usually stay up too late and then wake up late, but I’m really working on changing that during the Ultimate Reset.

Breakfast was supposed to be farina with walnuts, apple and pure maple syrup. I didn’t have farina so I used oatmeal instead.

I love this recipe! I’ve made it several times since I did the Ultimate Reset the first time. It’s really easy to make and really tasty. I love it.

Lunch was quinoa salad, hummus and a raw veggie plate. This wasn’t my favorite lunch, but it was still good. I felt hungry afterwards.

One of my favorite parts of Day 5 was going to yoga with my friend at the gym. I haven’t been to a live yoga class for a while. I love yoga. It felt great to stretch, and it was fun to go with a friend.

We tried to go in the steam room afterwards, but we almost suffocated after three minutes! Ok, that’s an exaggeration, but I was dying in there!

I had a special guest come to dinner that night! One of my friends came from Texas to visit! It was so fun to see her and catch up over a healthy dinner.

Dinner was Miso Soup, stir-fried veggies, 1/2 cup of brown rice and nori gomasio. I LOVED the stir-fried veggies! Delish!

Overall, Day 5 went really well. I loved the food, enjoyed the yoga and spent time with two great friends! It was a great day!
