Getting Back on Track After the Holidays!

Our “before” and “after” pictures!

Somewhere during the holidays I got off track from writing on this blog! Even though I’ve gotten off track from writing, I haven’t gotten off track from doing my workouts!

Rewind- Here’s My Story

For those of you who don’t know me, I’m a married mom of two little girls. I started GolladayFit in 2011 after I had my second baby. I had a lot of weight to lose. My husband had some weight to lose too.

So we started our journey together in Sept. 2011. I started Insanity, and Patrick started with P90X. Insanity probably wasn’t the best workout to START with, but I did it because I had it already, and I liked it. I lost 25 pounds with Insanity after using it for three months. I was excited! I loved my results!
I was so excited with my results that I decided to be a Team Beachbody Coach and start paying it forward. I still had a LOT of weight to lose when I became a coach, but I was excited to help others and make money from home. So I jumped in with both feet! I had NO idea what I was doing at first, but I loved it. I loved making a difference in people’s lives. Helping others motivated me to work harder.

Quitting wasn’t an Option!

I started Turbo Fire in January 2012. That is and will probably always be my FAVORITE Beachbody workout! I love it! I did it from January to June. I did the first month twice and the advanced workouts. I lost 19 pounds with that. I felt amazing!

ultimate reset I tried Brazil Butt Lift next. I never thought I’d try that workout, but I ended up loving it! It was a fun, challenging workout. I did Les Mills Pump next, and then the Ultimate Reset. After the Ultimate Reset, I got down to 127!! I felt incredible! I had to take a picture of the scale because I was in SHOCK! That was the LOWEST weight I’d been since Jr. high! Seriously?! I started at 178!

Fast Forward to Now

So the holidays hit, we got sick for a while, and couldn’t get back on a schedule… Excuses I know. Excuses that aren’t very good.

I’ve been doing my workouts, but haven’t been on a real schedule. I’ve been eating healthy, but caving with the sweets. So now I’m back up to 134. Not terrible, but not where I want to be.

So now I’m back on my mission to be consistent with my progress. I want to get on a good schedule of going to bed early, waking up early, working out, eating healthy, etc.

This blog will be my accountability! I will report back to you to let you know how I’m doing.

I too have been having the hardest time getting back on track. I wake up with the best intentions. I have my Shakeology first thing try to get my workout in. Then when lunch time hits it is all down hill. I feel like I am doing this all alone. It is really hard when your family members are not really into doing this with you. But I am ready to get back to what I know is right for me and my body. I think truly the key word is BALANCE!!!
