Thoughts on Being Pregnant with Baby #3

If you’ve followed me for a while, you know I struggled with my weight during my pregnancies. Before my first pregnancy after I got married, I gained 15, and then during my pregnancy, I gained 45! I got all the way up to 199 lbs., and my baby was only 6 lbs….! I’m only 5’4″ so that was a BIG jump for me!

It has to be Different the Second Time!

During my second pregnancy, I was determined not to gain as much weight. I’m a former gymnast, dancer, marathon runner, etc. I never had a weight problem in my life so it was a struggle for me to gain that much weight. I tried to be strong, exercise and keep making healthy choices, but I still went all the way up to 196 lbs.!

I got down to 137 lbs. after my first baby! I was proud of myself for losing the weight even though I gained it all back during my second pregnancy…

After my second baby, I lost even more weight and got down to 126 lbs.! That was crazy to me because I hadn’t been at that weight since Jr. High!

Why I Started GolladayFit

My friends started asking me what I did to lose my baby weight. They saw my transformation and wanted to have the same experience.

So I started coaching moms like me. I coached them for free, and then they bought Beachbody workouts from someone else who was selling them.

When I found out I could actually earn money for doing this, it was a perfect fit for me! It kept me on track because I was focused on helping others stay motivated, and they asked me how I was doing too.

I wanted to create a coaching program like I would have wanted. Someone to check in with you daily to help you stay on track with your goals so you weren’t alone through your journey.

The Results the First Year

It was so awesome to see these people’s lives change for the better! It was so rewarding! Here is a video from our first year!


Flash Forward to Baby #3

So now, I’m 14 weeks pregnant with baby #3. Once again I’m super nervous to gain a LOT of weight again!! I am determined to not go past 180 lbs. this time. That would be a HUGE victory for me!

I’m excited to have a baby. We’ve been wanting to have another baby for a couple years now, but the timing wasn’t right. So now is the perfect time.

Last time I was pregnant, I didn’t post at ALL on Facebook or social media. I was very private about my life. Since I started coaching, I’ve becoming more public and shared more of our story. I don’t know if that is good or bad, but I do know it’s helping me stay on track with my goals having people watch me along the way!

So this time WILL be different. I’m going to blog about my journey through this pregnancy. I’m going to be transparent and tell you my struggles and what it’s really like for me.

This is going to be hard to share my journey because this is the time I usually don’t take pictures or post things publicly. It would be really easy for me to hide for the next six months since we just moved to a new state three months ago, and don’t like by any family or old friends, but I’m going to share my journey with the hopes that I’ll stay on track and I might just inspire one person out there to be a little healthier. 🙂
