This week’s challenge is to try the Superman Hold! This is a great exercise to help your flexibility and strength in your lower back and core muscles. Make sure to BREATHE!! Hold it for a slow 30 counts three times. Take a break in between.
HOW TO DO THE SUPERMAN HOLD
Step 1: Lay face down on the floor.
Step 2: Put your hands above your head, but keep your elbows slightly bent.
Step 3: Use your lower back muscles to lift your chest and legs off the floor. Keep your neck and arms in a straight line with your spine. Be careful not to lift your arms too high. You don’t want to put too much strain on your lower back. Be careful with this exercise.
Step 4: Breathe. Hold it for 30 seconds three times. Rest in between each set.
