The truth is life is busy. It’s REALLY busy sometimes, and if you don’t make nutrition and fitness part of your life, it won’t happen!
Being healthy and fit doesn’t just “happen” to most people. The truth is that it takes effort, time and dedication.
A LITTLE HISTORY
After I had our baby last Aug. 2011, I could have easily said that I was too busy to workout or plan meals. I had two kids two and under, was working, involved in my church, etc. It would have been easier just to say, “Oh well, I’ll lose the weight later.”
Well, I decided NOT to give into my excuses. I decided I wanted to be healthy and fit to be a better mother for my daughters, a better looking wife for my husband and a healthier, happier person for ME! I decided to take charge and make some changes! So I did!
I trained and ran a 1/2 marathon 7 months after our baby was born. I’ve lost over 60 pounds since the day I had our baby. I have more energy, and I feel great!
MY WEIGHT LOSS SECRETS
– I used Beachbody workouts because they WORK! 🙂
– I eat five times a day, every 2-3 hours
– I drink at least 8-10 glasses of water daily
– I used Shakeology daily
– I have an AWESOME online support group with people from all over the U.S. and some outside the country
– I haven’t given up
– I’ve believed that I could do it everyday, and I didn’t give in to my excuses!
There are people in our online workout group who work 12-hour days, have 5 kids, have illnesses, are recovering from surgeries, etc. and they STILL find time to workout and eat healthy!
There are NO EXCUSES if you REALLY want to be healthy and fit! If you REALLY want a better you, you REALLY can make it happen.
