It’s Transformation Tuesday! I love highlighting people who are having success in our accountability groups on Facebook! Today I’d like to highlight one of my friends from college. Natalie came to me frustrated with her weight after her fourth baby. She wanted to speed up her weight loss progress to get her body back. She decided to try the 21 Day Fix and Shakeology. She lost 6 lbs. and over 10 inches in the 21 days. Not only that, she feels better and looks amazing! This is her story in her own words.

I have never before taken on a serious health challenge. But after having my fourth baby 2 1/2 months ago I was feeling flabby and frustrated trying to find clothes that fit. I usually trim down with a little effort by 6 months post baby but wanted to see if I could speed up that process with a little more work. The 21 day fix was perfect. It was a jump start to get my pre baby body back.

I loved that it took the guess work out. The daily workouts are all planned out so I don’t have to decide what to do each day, and they’re just 30 minutes so I could definitely fit them in. Because you’re always doing a different workout, different muscles are a little tired and sore each day. I really felt like my whole body got stronger. Certain moves, especially core exercises, got easier as the three weeks progressed.

I didn’t realize that nutrition counts for 80% of success. I don’t have much self control in the kitchen. I never turn down a treat. But I learned to say no. I learned I do have self control. It seemed doable because I would tell myself “it’s only 21 days.” The interesting thing is, now that I’m through the program I actually don’t crave sweets that much!

Motivated by the Inches Dropping

I’ve never before done measurements and it was really motivating to see the inches drop off even if the scale wasn’t moving. Most of the weight came off in the first week or two but the inches kept coming. I lost 6 pounds and over 10 inches and I feel great. I did it!
