Here is her story:

My story starts in the summer of 2011. I had just had Baby #5 and had gotten some scary test results back. My autoimmune diseases…rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and sjoren’s syndrome…had caused permanent damage. I would never again be able to bend my wrists. The doctor said that if I didn’t start moving the rest of my body, the rest of my joints would fuse as well and I’d be crippled. Being just 30 years old, I was scared off the couch. I knew I had to make a change. So I started walking. It was fall and then winter and really difficult to bundle my five children up each day, but I did it. After 4 long months of walking, I had only lost 4 lbs! I was frustrated that all that effort wasn’t working to help me lose the 50 lbs I had gained from my babies. My friend, Shannon Golladay, had become a coach and posted her own results. I was amazed! She had a baby just a week before me and had lost a lot of weight and looked great! I told her that I need to do whatever she was doing.

So she helped me pick Hip Hop Abs as my first workout program. After a week of working out, I decided I needed to try Shakeology and signed up as coach purely for the military discount. Since I had a coach account, I figured I would try my hand at coaching. I needed the motivation and accountability of telling everyone I was a coach so I wouldn’t quit my workout program. And I figured I’d work to get my Shakeology paid for so it wasn’t a financial burden on my family.

My husband and I built my business to diamond in just 59 days by signing up lots of family members fort the discount. Because my business was built with discount coaches, my business fell to emerald, where it stayed for 2 years. I got pregnant and sick and just did enough to keep my coaching business account going. I kept running free challenges and posting about Beachbody. But I didn’t care about Success Club or building my team. So my business didn’t grow.

Then 2 years after I became a coach, my husband deployed for a year. Having him leave and watching my children crying for him broke my heart. But instead of using it as an excuse, I threw myself into my business, determined to use the year he was gone to be a successful coach. And I did! I got to my weight loss goal of 50 lbs, I went from Emerald to 1 Star Diamond and I increased my income 4 times in one year.

Since he’s been home, I’ve continued to grow my team. And even though I keep running into bumps in life…a high risk pregnancy, having another baby, moving, being busy home schooling, etc…I have kept my no excuses attitude to NOT give up on my dreams and keep going no matter what!

I’m so grateful for the coaching opportunity and everything being a coach has done for me. My life has totally changed. Physically I’m a stronger person. I’m healthier and thus happier because I’m finally taking care of myself. Financially my family has benefited greatly from the income I’ve earned. We’ve gone on family vacations, been able to afford a larger car, decorated our house, paid off debt…all while I stayed at home with them. Finally, I’ve changed from the inside out. I’m more confident, less shy. I’m no longer putting myself last. And I’m finally setting goals and achieving them, which gives me a purpose!

I’m a home schooling Mom, an Army wife, a Mom of 7, but I’m also a COACH! And I’m determined to be a successful coach, NO MATTER WHAT!

You are such an inspiration to others and You are just amazing Angie! Congratulations!
