Grilled Lemon Salmon

Delicious Grilled Salmon from the Turbo Fire Meal Planner

It’s Recipe Wednesday!

Each Wednesday we post a new healthy recipe on our blog! We tried this one last night, and it was so good! It was taken from Beachbody’s Turbo Fire Meal Planner. Each workout comes with a meal planner. The Turbo Fire one is one of my favorites!

Grilled Lemon Salmon
Makes 4 servings

What you need:

– 4 5-oz. salmon steaks
– Juice from 2 lemons
– 2 tsp. parsley flakes
– 1 tsp. garlic salt
– 2 tsp. ground black pepper
– Butter-flavored nonstick cooking spray

Directions:

Preheat stovetop griddle or electric grill that cooks both sides at once (we used a George Forman Grill). Coat salmon steaks with nonstick cooking spray, then sprinkle with the garlic salt and pepper. Grill for 7 min. or until fish flakes easily with a fork. (Two-sided grill will take less time – check fish after 2 to 4 minutes.) Combine parsley and lemon juice and drizzle over fish. Serve with steamed green beans and rice (We used white rice, but brown rice is better for you).
