Go for a Run!

It’s time for the WEEKEND CHALLENGE! Every week we post a challenge for the weekend on our blog! This week’s challenge is to go running! The weather is getting cooler, and we won’t be able to go outside much longer in some places so take advantage of the last few warm days we have left and go running!

Even if you just run for one minute! That still counts! Let us know how you do.

Benefits of Running

There are many benefits of running. Both physical and physiological.

Running can help you lose weight, improve your cardiovascular health, improve your bone health, and also improve your mood and coordination. Running is also beneficial for slowing down the aging process.

Most runners are happier and have less stress in their lives than people who do not exercise. I noticed this in college. I used to get really stressed in college, but I was able to handle it much better when I went running regularly.
