Down 48 lbs. After Baby #3!

I remember feeling stuck after we had our first baby. I felt stuck in a body that wasn’t my own, and I didn’t know how to change…


My story started after our first baby was born in 2009. I got up to my heaviest weight in my life (199 lbs.!). I’m only 5’4″ so that was high for me! I was a gymnast, dancer, runner, cheerleader, water skier, snow skier, etc. growing up so it was hard for me to see that number on the scale!

I felt tired, out of energy, depressed and STUCK! I felt stuck in a body that wasn’t my own, and didn’t know what to do. I needed a plan.


The good news is that things did change, and I did get my body back! Then I got my body back again two more times after having two more babies!

I just had our last baby 11 months ago. So far I’ve lost 48 lbs. since last year at this time (that’s including my pregnancy weight)! I’m feeling pretty awesome! That is including my baby weight, but it still feels good!

This is a picture of me last year at this time, and then last week.

I’m feeling awesome! I’ve got my energy back, I can wear my clothes again, I’ve run a 1/2 marathon since she was born, and I owe it all to the workouts I do at home, meal plans and being a coach leading others (I need to be a good example)!
