I went to my first Coach Summit in Las Vegas June 21-24. I was sad Patrick couldn’t go with me this year. He’s planning to go next year though!
THE FOCUS OF SUMMIT
It was SO awesome! I loved every minute!! It was neat to learn more about Beachbody as a company. I love how their focus is on helping people get healthy and fit. The whole weekend they talked about how we as Beachbody Coaches can make a difference in people’s lives. I LOVED that! It was so inspiring to listen to stories of people who’ve lost weight and become completely new people.
There are not many companies that focus on making a difference in people’s lives. I LOVE that about Beachbody!
My flight landed in Las Vegas around 8:30 a.m. When I got to MGM Grand, they let me check in early! That was awesome! I had a nice room!
I got to sign the big Commit sign! It was huge! The theme of the summit was to commit to helping others change their lives. I loved that theme!
We had a workshop with our team. We heard from the top coaches on our team and we also heard from Brett Hoebel, Biggest Loser Trainer and Carl Daikeler, Beachbody’s CEO.
Brett Hoebel told us his story. He said he was going to medical school before he started creating workouts. He was going to medical school because he thought he could be successful in that field. The problem was that he wasn’t passionate about it. He talked about his journey as he left medical school and then becoming a trainer on the Biggest Loser.
It was very inspirational listening to him speak. He talked about his struggles, and how he overcame them. I love listening to people who’ve overcome big challenges and come out even better. It seems like most great leaders had humble beginnings. Sometimes that makes people great. Overcoming obstacles and then finding their passion in life.
I thought about my life. I want to be passionate about the direction I go in life. I love the Beachbody Coaching opportunity because I can help people and make a lasting difference in their lives. I haven’t ever been this passionate about a job before. This doesn’t seem like work to me because I love it so much!
Carl Daikeler spoke to us briefly. It was neat to see him in person. He’s a good guy with an amazing vision for Beachbody. He’s a great leader. He told us we are the first responders to end the trend of obesity. I loved listening to him talk. He has so much passion for helping people and making a difference in the world. I loved that!
Later that night, my friend Angie, her husband, Jason, and Jason’s brother, Kimball, met arrived for Beachbody’s 5 Year Anniversary Bash! It was an invitation only event. We were excited that we qualified to go! It was so fun to see Angie! We were roommates in college, and we don’t get to see each other very much since she lives on the East Coast, and I live on the West Coast. 🙂 We had a fun night. Beachbody knows how to have a party!
The party was outside by the pool. It was a fun night!
