3 Tips for Busy People who want to Exercise
The BIGGEST excuse we get from people is they don’t have time to exercise! The truth is, most people have time, but they don’t MAKE time to exercise. We know people who work 12 hour shifts and still make time to exercise. We also know people with five kids, and they still exercise. If you really want it to happen, it will happen! No excuses!
#1- PLAN TIME. Plan a time to exercise that won’t change from day to day. This is SET! Just like an important meeting, it can’t be moved. Once it’s on the calendar, it’s on there!
#2- AVOID INTERRUPTIONS. Turn OFF your phone, close the door, etc. Don’t let interruptions stop you from exercising. We know you’re busy, but people can wait for 30-60 min. while you exercise!
#3- BE COMMITTED! Make a goal to exercise a certain number of times a week, and STAY committed to that! Don’t replace your workout time with something else. This is important! You don’t want to miss it!

When we started getting back in shape, we were BOTH really busy just like you! We both had jobs (Patrick full-time, and me part-time). We have two daughters, church responsibilities, friends, family, etc. There’s always something that can get in the way of your workouts, but you CAN’T let anything get in the way! Stay committed, and you’ll see results! We’re in this together!
