3 Tips to Help us Enjoy Life More

My husband and I are on vacation this week. It’s been awesome to getaway, relax and have time to think.

I don’t know about you, but I tend to make myself way too busy sometimes. Rushing to and fro and never taking time out to really think about where I’m going. Just going going going.

Being here by the ocean and taking time to think about where we’ve gone and where we are headed has helped me to realize that I’ve been running too fast. I want to slow down and enjoy each day more.

So while I was thinking this week, I came up with three tips that I want to implement more into my life. I hope these help you too.

My Top Three Tips to Help us Enjoy Life More

1- Be grateful. Find something each day to be grateful for. The more grateful we are, the happier we will be.

2- Take at least one full day off every week to unplug completely from social media, TV, internet, etc. I like to take Sundays off. I want to get better at this. Sometimes, I sneak and check social media, but I really want to completely unplug for at least one full day.

3- Do something to pamper yourself. Get a massage, take a bath, paint your nails, do a face mask, get a pedicure, etc. It doesn’t need to be expensive, just something to pamper yourself and help you feel better.
